First Tooth (as told by Leah)

Here is my first tooth! It took a long time to come out, but now I love to show it off.

Hogle Zoo

We went to the Hogle Zoo this weekend, and had a blast showing Leah all of the different animals. Even though she won't remember it, we had a great time.

This cute little monkey would hop onto a platform right up against the window and stare right at you- Leah thought it was great!

One of Leah's favorite toys is "Joshua Giraffe"- here she is with the toy and the real thing.
We ended the day with a train ride around the park- it was so hot, we went home at 2:00!

Our trip to Yellowstone

We went to Yellowstone/Jackson Hole/Grand Teton National Park this past weekend. The weather was great and the scenery was beautiful. We didn't see much wildlife- lots of buffalo, a few deer and a beautiful elk with huge antlers. Despite long hours in the car, sunburns and too much fast food, we all had a lot of fun.

We took a boat ride around Jenny Lake. It was cold in the shadow of the Tetons, so Leah and I shared Jason's sweatshirt.

What's with the tongue?!?!

We've taken some great pictures of our latest adventures with Leah, and they all have one thing in common- the tongue! It's always sticking out- I'm hoping it's because she just cut her first tooth (end of teething-induced sleepless nights? Let's hope so!) and likes to feel the tooth, but if not, I'm afraid the tongue is here to stay! I did add one nice picture at the end that doesn't have it.
