Fam-iversary

Yesterday we had our first annual (I hope!) Morales Fam-iversary!

We celebrated our family.

We chose Sept. 8th because it is the day of our first date, and September is just too sparse on holidays!

We celebrated by talking about what a family is (toddler talk, i.e. "Leah, is Daddy in our family? Is Mommy in our family?"), looking at family pictures, answering silly questions about each other, and then topped it off by visiting The Malt Shop- yes, the location of our first date.

One Last Hurrah!

We went to Bear Lake this weekend. It was wonderful. Leah was 100% content with wandering around the beach all day, collecting shells and putting them in her 'purse'.Leah found a new love- salt water taffy. Jason's trying to break it into smaller pieces for her.

" Here Mom, will you hold my sand?"

Ahhh.... what a great way to finish off the summer.

Name and meaning: Well, I had to look this up... Leah is Hebrew and means 'weary'. Not exactly a good description of my Leah. To me it means 'beautiful'.

Bike Ride!

We bought a bike seat for Leah (at the end of the summer, go figure!), and have been all over Provo this weekend. Since Jason's family was in town, we dragged them along with us.
