Almost a month!

I can't believe Leah is almost a month old! She's growing so quickly too! At her last doctor's appointment she weighed 6 lb. 15 oz. and was 20 inches long. Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks. Enjoy! -Jason

Leah's First Bath

She loved it! Mom and Dad were more worried than Leah was when we put her in the water- she just sat back and relaxed while we tried to figure out how to keep a good grip on her slippery body!

Leah's first day home

On Wednesday we brought Leah home for the first time. She really likes looking around at all the different shapes and colors and I'm sure that in no time she'll be getting into everything in sight.

Here are today's pictures. Today we got some pictures of Leah making faces. Leah also had a visit from her cousin Sarah, who is in love with her new friend. Leah is doing good today and is starting to open her eyes more and is curious about what's going on around her. We're having a lot of fun with and are so proud of her. Hopefully everyone will enjoy these pictures.

New Arrival!!

Our baby girl is here! Leah Ann Morales arrived on Saturday, December 30th at 3:14 AM. She weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long, with a head full of dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. She is perfect. Due to an emergency C-section, we are all staying in the hospital a little longer than originally planned, but we are looking forward to going home on Wednesday. So far, life as a family of three is more wonderful than we had ever imagined.

Happy Holidays! We are so excited to share this wonderful time of year, and this exciting time in our lives with friends and family. We have been very blessed this year, and are anxiously awaiting all of the adventures of 2007!

First Post With Three Weeks To Go

I'm trying to get this set up before the baby comes, so we can have a place to share upcoming good news about our family! Here is one of the first pictures that we have of our baby girl. This was at 27 weeks, when she weighed 2 lbs. 2 oz. Today, at 37 weeks, she weighs 6 lbs. 8 oz. We'll see how much further she can grow!
