Hubba Husband!

Every year that Jason and I have dressed up for Halloween, he has managed to fit the same nasty flannel shirt into his costume. I have to say, it was the best $5 we ever spent at the DI.

2005- Circus Run-aways

2007-A little garden family

2006 was an off year, because I was pregnant and not about to dress up in a costume. Plus, I think Jason had temporarily run out of ideas for the flannel shirt. Any ideas for next year's costumes? We'd hate to retire the ol' flannel already!

Pumpkin Time!

We went to a pumpkin patch in Springville this weekend, and had a great time picking out the best pumpkins for Halloween (and taking pictures of Leah around the patch).

The next night we carved our pumpkins into a cute little jack-o-lantern family. I love that Jason and Leah have the same excited smile on their faces in this picture.

Two lil' pumpkins.

The finished products, as seen from our front window. Jason's sister Michelle joined us for the carving, hence the fourth pumpkin.

Hula!

Grandma and Grandpa just got back from a trip to Hawaii, and they brought Leah this great hula outfit. It was a trick getting Leah to sit still enough to put all the pieces on (she hates having anything on her head or around her neck) but we finally got it all together. What a babe!

I was feeling crafty this weekend during General Conference, and decided to make my Oreo balls into Halloween spiders! I was hoping that would keep me from eating as many, but this way they were just too cute to resist! Thanks again, Erica for bringing them into our lives!

Starting Leah out at an early age...

Two new friends

We have two new little girls in our family. Aaron and Kirsten's baby Claire was born on Sept. 28th, and Heather and Jarad's baby Savanna was born on October 3rd. Now Leah has two little girl cousins that she can grow up with. Aren't they both so beautiful?

Neighbors and Friends

We baby-sat Aubrey Nelson yesterday, and Leah had so much fun playing with her. She nearly jumped out of her exersaucer when I brought Aubrey into the room. I tried to take a picture of them together on the couch, and it was tough getting two babies to look at- and smile at- the camera at the same time... Here are my best attempts.
Okay cute girls- look at the camera! No, not Baby Einstein- the camera!

Aubrey's got it! Now Leah- smile while looking at the camera!

Aubrey: Come on, Leah, you can do it!
Leah: Mom! You're embarrassing me in front of my friends!
Yay! We finally did it!

Just a few pictures from the weekend.
Salad A-la-Leah!
We went on a walk last night and Leah was so happy to be snuggled up in Jason's coat. Leah showing off her new dress from Grandma.
