Noah is always making us laugh, and, as the 'baby' of the family he carries an extra measure of cuteness in everything he does. Here's the latest!

While we were trading stories about scars and other memorable life moments, I officially decided that the moment Emma's mammoth wart finally came out of her foot was one of the top three most disgusting moments of my life.
Of course the kids wanted to know what the other two moments were.
"Having babies?" they guessed to which I said no, I didn't think that was exactly disgusting.
"Uhhh, are you sure?" Noah countered. "Wasn't Emma born in (puts up air quotes) 'the wilderness'???"
Ha!!
Noah auditioned for the school talent show with this video!

Noah came home in tears yesterday after some mean kids refused to let him and his friends into the snow fort that they had been working on for all three recesses. "Eventually we told them if they wouldn't let us in then we would just leave, but we should have told them to treat others how they want to be treated!" That's right buddy!
"One time Mom decided to move! I was sad because that meant I had to say goodbye to all of my friends but I knew I would make new friends and now I have. The end."
"Around Christmas I am going to go to Disney World! I am going to go on the new Slinky ride. The closest Disney World is at Florida so I am going there. It's going to be fun!"
Waiting for the bus. (heart)
Oh boy. There are a lot of things that annoy me about housekeeping/caring for all the people and all the things (trash that is sitting near the trashcan, shoes worn on rugs, junk piles that have been sitting for days or weeks or months, dishes left in the sink, bathrooms that smell like, well, bathrooms), but spills aren't really one of them. Even when it's a mixel barf soup explosion all over the kitchen we can just laugh about it and clean it up. Chances are I needed to wash that rug anyway!
Just a cute little line of babies!
I've been using this daily whiteboard to keep us on track since the start of online school back in 2020. It always includes the date, the weather, daily highlights and to-do's, a weekly snapshot of events, a countdown to whatever exciting event is coming up and a joke. Sometimes Noah helps me illustrate it. In this one DogMan is reminding everyone that it's double bus day!
While tucking Noah in, I got an extra measure of love and hugs last night. "You're the best mommy I've ever had," he said while stroking my hair. "I guess that means you're the worst mommy I've ever had too. It's true. You're both. You're the best and the worst. And I love you sooooo much!"
I'll take it!
