Leah talks SO MUCH every day, I could probably start another blog containing just the funny conversations we have. She tries to use common phrases whenever she can. Most of them go something like this:Can I eat some cookies just one at a time?
*This is my new slide that I am borrowing to use it.
*Can I just play for two more hours?
And today she was going down a little slide, then invited me to follow after her. I told her I couldn't fit. Her response?
"That's right, Mommy. You have to be careful so you don't fall down and break your hiney."
True that.
I've also started trying to give her more independent play time, to get her used to the idea of playing while Mom's taking care of the baby brother. It's interesting to see what she comes up with to do on her own. The picture I declined to post is of her in her bedroom, stark naked and surrounded by books. The above picture shows her having a "tea party" on the deck- complete with Wii remotes, the Jungle Book, and Finding Nemo.

That is awesome, they are really so much smarter than we think. Jefferson constantly surprises me. I can't wait until he starts talking.
