Time To Post

It's been almost a week since I've posted anything, which means that we've been super busy, but maybe not busy doing very fun things. Every day goes by so fast-in part because I spend so much time doing the routine tasks that never get put on the "to do list"- nursing, diapering, napping for Adam and lots and lots and LOTS of pretend play for Leah.
Leah has turned into a little Allison. She loves wearing dresses every day. She has a bit of trouble getting her pajamas off when I'm helping her get dressed into shirts and pants, but most mornings she comes downstairs having miraculously changed into her best dress, shoes, and accessories with no help and no problem. This could be an issue come winter time. I'll be stocking up on tights, I guess.

This little chunky buns currently weighs in at 13 pounds 10 ounces! And he's over 25 inches long. He's about to graduate to 6 months clothes, just shy of his 3 month birthday. Let's do a swing comparison, shall we?

September 22, 2009-ONE WEEK LATER- Sept. 29th
Holy smokes! No wonder my back is killing me! Ooh, I do love this little man. He has started laughing, which I love so much. If we can ever catch it on video, I'll post it.

We were the hosts for Leah's playgroup this week, and I think it was a success. There were no blood or tears, although there was a little sweat on my part. Four toddlers can be a handful! Thankfully, Mr. Adam was kind enough to sleep for the majority of the morning, so I didn't have to factor him into the equation until near the end.

The weather was nice enough that the kids got to have a "snack picnic" in the backyard. Leah and her new best friend (the little girl) have so much fun together- today they were even dressed alike, down to the braids.
Here is the craft project that my mom and I came up with for the kids. It turned out pretty cute, and I was especially impressed with Jason's "spooky trees". I'm always surprised at his art abilities.

And that concludes this update. Next up- Chicago!

I LOVE that picture of Leah holding up the red pepper (at least I think it's a red pepper). She is such a pretty little thang! I can't believe that Adam is growing so fast! I think he's got to be longer than Elliott!
