May-th

 May-th is the combination of our wedding month and day- 

May 8th.... silly, but it stuck.

Married for eight years... we didn't buy each other romantic anniversary gifts, but we did take ourselves out to dinner.

We didn't go on a romantic getaway, but we started planning one for the future.

We didn't watch our wedding video (because we don't have one) but we did pull out our wedding album and reminisce over the joys and tears and love we shared on our wedding day. 

We spent the day laughing at the silliness of our kids, finishing each other's thoughts, and holding hands and gazing at each other a little more than we usually do.  I am still trying to figure out how I was lucky enough to convince Jason to marry me, which is the exact same thing he always says. about me..

We are proud of the years and commitment we've got behind us, and we're excited to face the future together head-on.
