Denver

We started our trip out west with a nearly-week long stop in Denver.  The snow was one of the best parts of the trip- it was the only snow we have enjoyed this whole winter!  Getting snow coats, pants, boots, hats, and mittens for everyone was a major cause of stress for me before we left, so I was quite glad when we were buried in nearly a foot while we were there.

Trips to Denver always include lots of family, fun and food, and this trip did not disappoint!  The kids were happily spoiled rotten, had lots of toys and aunties to play with, and had a great time making cookies and jumping on trampolines with Grandma.

It's always fun to visit so many family members, to catch up with everyone and especially to see the place where most of Daddy's "when I was a little boy" stories come from.  Leah, Adam, Jason, Jenny, and Emily spent an entire afternoon sorting through old GI Joes and Barbies, and the kids loved it!  We always love our trips to Denver.
