Hot and humid!

No, really. 

Noah helped me weed this morning. I found a lovely pile of pulled up hostas. 

I'd take his help over Laney's feral animal shenanigans anyday.

On a not quite as flaming hot evening last week, Emma and I went on a girls adventure. 

We miss Leah!!

And Emma insisted that I take this one. She makes me happy, when skies are gray. 

Which, honestly, isn't happening that much this hot and sunny Iowa summer. 

May Days!

 The first weekend in May we went to Chicago, the second weekend we went to Nauvoo! We spent just a few hours there but it was so sweet to be in the temple together as a family one more time before Leah heads out on her mission. 

On the third weekend in May, the boys went to their annual father-son campout, and we had a girls weekend! 

There were SO many concerts in May, and I loved it! 

We genuinely never know what Adam is going to do on stage next. 

Spring Fling Wing Ding!

We're going to miss the seniors that have mentored Adam this year. 

A Mother's Day date! 

A lesson learned in which one is the brake pedal. 

A HUGE day for Noah- braces are finally on! Here's his before-

Happy 22nd anniversary to us! We snuck in a lunch date in this crazy busy month. 

Mother's Day was such a treat!

This was the year that we played laser tag Mom trivia at the dinner table. We all loved it!

All around, we loved having Leah home in May! 

Adam has perfected the art of the omlette this year!
