And..... March March March

March is the best month because it means spring is coming, and, this year, a trip! But before we headed south for spring break, we had a whole lot of happy life to live. Like the rest of our visit from Autie Al!
Remnants of Home Grown!
Eat, walk, sleep, repeat.
I don't know what happened here, but I do know that these siblings love each other! More than once visitors have commented that Leah and Emma's future husbands are going to have VERY large shoes to fill from their sweet, helpful, kind brothers.
Still my birthday favorite-
This winter I started walking through the DSM skywalk while Noah was in youth symphony. Most of the corridors are well kept but old and a little crusty. One day I was walking with a friend and we decided to take a right instead of the usual left, and discovered a much nicer and updated route that I have loved walking through ever since.
A little cello music in March!
We watched The Music Man in March to prepare for the upcoming summer musical. What a weird and great movie.
Noah started wearing this hat a few weeks before we left for Puerto Rico, which gave Leah the ick because it reminds her of an old boyfriend. Hee!
He looks so cute though!
Most of the time, Laney does not like to cuddle or sleep up by our heads. This look on her face is HELP!
This is the face of resigned pup.
This is more of her preferred location- stuffed into my feet.
Noah and I had a date to Finding Nemo Jr!
We sat by Emma and her friends.
My birthday was wonderful, with surprises all day long! Homemade flowers from Emma-
a birthday badge to wear to church from Noah (because when your kids give you a birthday badge to wear to church, you wear it!)-
a helpful hand from Adam (he does this every day)-
a sunny pup snuggle-
Time outside!
FaceTime with Leah for my birthday cake!
a funny picture gift from Jason-
and a glow-in-the-dark party! It was an awesome birthday.
Dramatizers was a fun affair for Emma this March.
She played the role of the class president in the cafeteria.
I love this group of friends that she has cultivated this year.
Show choir wrapped up in March.
Hey look! There's Adam on the synth!
Noah had am orchestra concert in March!
Not all days in March were sunny,
but some of the chilly ones brought out my favorite spring time wildlife-
the coyotes! Always in a pair.
And a few minutes later, a whole herd of deer. I'm pretty sure a flock of Canadian geese and a bald eagle swooped by overhead too.
Bless my nail technician.
I spent more hours at the school in March. Changes in the office meant new secretaries but didn't seem to affect my subbing beyond them asking me to do more of it at this point!
This message makes me laugh-
I loved creating a 2026 Good, Better, Best Bingo with Emma!
March is already a quarter of the way into the new year, but it is my favorite time of year to set new goals and get excited about all that is coming as the weather warms up and the earth wakes up again.
