Land that I love.
We celebrated the Fourth downtown, enjoying the Des Moines Symphony Pops Concert with friends and neighbors and lots of tasty food.
And when the sun went down and the capitol lit up,
we settled in for fireworks,
which is always mesmerizing.
I loved watching the fireworks explode over our tiny city skyline.
It was a perfect celebration!
