Two or three years ago our optometrist noted that Emma's eyes gave her reason to believe that she would need glasses some day, and that day, much to Emma's delight, has finally come! She had been complaining occasionally about her eyes bothering her, which earned her a trip to the doctor and an optional prescription, and she decided to take it!
And she couldn't be happier and cuter about it.
Like many things, the fun of wearing glasses wore off fairly quickly, but thankfully the prescription is mild enough that it is genuinely her choice to wear them or not... for now!
