While we're counting down the days until the big move, we are also trying to figure out how to enjoy this absurd COVID-19 summer in which the library is closed, the movie theater is closed, the parks have been closed and worst of all- the POOL is closed!

jump in a lake, that's what to do!
And it was just the trick on a hot summer's day!
We met up with some friends for a hike in the woods which eventually morphed into an impromptu swimming in the lake session, hence the no swimsuits.
There were plenty of fish, turtles, ducks, frogs and even a snake to contend with, but that didn't stop these brave kids!
They spent hours playing Imagination Nation and pirates and bring us the best rock you can find and who knows what else on this little boat launcher.
Emma made an extra friend!
No pool, no worries! This was a perfect summer day.
