While Adam and Daddy were in Colorado, we had a good bit of our own fun. We spent an evening with friends, and the kids came home with tadpoles and hopes for catching the first fireflies of the season.
We finally checked out the fancy dress shop in town!
Leah made her first chicken pot pie.
Emma was in charge of the strawberries and bananas.
We watched High School Musical, played school,
and we spent a very, very windy Memorial Day afternoon at the beach- after the Boy Scout pancake breakfast and before the BBQ with friends.
It was a a quieter weekend for us, but it was a lot of fun. And we were all thrilled when Adam and Daddy came back home again.
