This sums up our winter on a letterboard. I've offered skiing, snow tubing, children's museum, science center, the library and more, but if there is any chance that we can just hunker down and enjoy home together, you can bet that, lately, that's exactly what we're doing.
Especially with the holiday, late start and early out snow half-days that we've had this January. It all adds up to extra hours to play games, enjoy Christmas gifts, watch movies and all around just enjoy the fact that we don't have to be anywhere. Orchestra- cancelled, pinewood derby- cancelled, church meeting- cancelled. We're just hibernating while we can. And when the weather clears up we'll be back in action again.
