Online Learning Is Life

 Now that we officially know that we are going to be doing online learning through the end of this school year, I'm not going to write a weekly update about it anymore.  I'll just update as the highlights come along, but overall online learning is just life now.  Every day is basically the same with meetings and assignments and the occasional distraction out the window.

And always good food.  Everyone is enjoying not having to pack a lunch in the morning and often enjoying a hot lunch too!

After we found out that a friend who had been in our home tested positive for coronavirus Emma and Noah built themselves a protective barrier to keep the germs away. 

There is plenty that is different this year, but it wouldn't be first grade without a disguised turkey! 

While the little two are right close by every day, the big two are often on their own, getting their work done and occasionally producing art like this!

We've been having off-school hours fun too.  We did an Escape the Moon escape room, complete with astronaut ice cream (which was much tastier when I was a kid), 

and have had hours and hours of trampoline time, LEGO time, Zoom meetings with friends, and plenty of chores and music practice.  Just business as usual in this new, weird, and temporary life!
