The Life of a Pup

 Laney is the best dog we've ever had! And she's also the worst, but the good always outweighs the bad with the fluffiest little member of our family. 

Sometimes she gets to take a deluxe bath. 

Lots of the time she can be found lounging in a spot of sunlight. 

And she's getting weirdly comfortable with visitors in the house.  She's still failing at the initial approach at the door, but once she realizes that she knows who's coming in she will often hop right up onto the laps of our visitors.... even if they're sitting at the piano. 

She's always up for a ride in the car or a sleepover on Noah or Adam's bed (the rest of us don't really love having her company in the middle of the night). She has learned to love watching the kids load up on the bus in the morning and loves to greet Leah when she hop off the bus on Wednesday afternoons, and she's always ready with a toy to play tug of war or catch with Emma during scripture study (not always reverent, but always adorable). She's snuggly and sweet and often just what a weary soul needs at the end of a long day.  Overall she's definitely earning her keep!
