Snow!

 We have had some excellent snow fall this month and have spent as much time as possible enjoying it!

Look at these cute little Eskimos!

Eyes closed.... eyes open!

So cold, and so handsome!

And way across the yard was Noah. 

A little closer... 

there he is!

Ha!  Noah's thinking ummm, Emma, what's with your smile? 

The snow-covered Friendship Bridge is just as beautiful as ever-

The kids have officially named this the hill on our neighbors side of the creek Suicide Slope!

And it took a good bit of effort, but we eventually got the treehouse trapdoor open!

Adam really wanted to climb up into the tree, which was made a bit easier with his head-to-toe coverage. 

He lured Noah over... 

and then this happened. 

Ha!

It is really, really cold lots of mornings, but boy does a good hot cup of cocoa do the trick once we're back inside. 

There was a fantastic snowfall just a few days before we left that we didn't really get to enjoy until we got back.  The kids have been eyeing this massive hill at the elementary school since we moved here and it did not disappoint. 

Again the hot cocoa kept us going just a bit longer, 

and eventually the outing turned into a 'how many sleds can we destroy?' challenge.

Daddy took out the first disc sled right away, and then everyone took turns on the 'bum cracker', aptly named because the crack down the middle of it looked just like, well, a bum crack.  Emma eventually took that one out too. 

Note to self: just buy new sleds every year.  You'll need them.
