Plays for Days!

Emma's fall musical was The Wizard of Oz- she was a lead Munchkin and the cutest lil' Jitterbug!
Her goal for this play was to have a mic- and she did! And she did great with her solo lines.
She never got to see the second act, so I took lots of pictures to show her what the whole play looked like from the audience- it was spectacular!

We all got to see her perform!
Understandably, Emma cried when the show was over.  It's hard to say goodbye to something you've put so much time and love into, and she had a great experience with her first middle school musical!
Adam's first high school play, The Heart of Robin Hood, was the following week!  His role as widowed father of two plus a pup Robert Summers was much more devastating than I anticipated.
He died!!!
It was horribly tragic.  But then he reincarnated as one of Prince John's soldiers (he was also Prince John's understudy, which thankfully he never had to perform).
And he performed a posthumous dance with his wife- what a stud.
He 1000% should have taken his bow dressed as Robert Summers- justice for Robert Summers!
When it was all over and I asked Adam if it was worth it, he said, "Yes". And he sounded just like himself.
It's been a happy season of theater for all of us!
