Our flight wasn't scheduled to leave until 8:00 PM on our last day in Orlando, so you can bet that we filled the day up with all of the fun we could!
First up- breakfast at Chef Mickeys! We had to ride from the Art of Animation via bus to the Magic Kingdom and then walk in the way too cold cold over to the Contemporary (happy memory- Adam hung back to wait for Daddy while his backpack went through security and they walked over together while the rest of us hurried toward warmth as fast as we possible could) but the delicious breakfast was totally worth it!

The Disney Dream! Adam asked if we would be going on it next year since the last two times we went to Disney World we also went on a Disney cruise within a year or so, and the answer was NO. We have zero plans to go on a cruise in the near future, and zero plans to get on the Disney Dream ever again. But it sure was fun pointing out all of the parts of the ship that we've made memories on!
The Mickey ears! I have a picture of myself with my little brother Jared (Uncle Bubba!) sitting on those ears! Also, what a gloomy morning. At this point we hadn't seen the sun in a few days.

Such a fun restaurant, and, thanks to Covid, it was far, far less chaotic than the last time we were here. The tables were nicely spread out, and no buffet meant platters of the delicious food were delivered straight to our table. No one seemed to miss the excessive towers of donuts and rice krispy treats that we saw last time.
It was all about the Mickey waffles for some of us.

The characters made their way around the room, and we weren't allowed to get up from our chairs to greet them. But we still saw all of our favorite pals!
Last time Donald was everyone's favorite character- this time around it's definitely Goofy. The kids all shouted, "we love Potatoland too!" when he passed our table. The poor character inside the costume probably had no clue what they were talking about, but he nodded enthusiastically and waved anyway.
It was a fun and tasty breakfast, and a great way to kick our last day in Florida!
