We have a "whole junk" of traditions relating to general conference, and we added a fun new one to the mix this year- a general conference fantasy draft! We answered questions like apostle tie color, choir dress color, which sessions President Nelson would speak at and where new temples would be announced for an added measure of excitement in each session. Leah was the winner because she guessed that a temple would be announced in Jakarta, Indonesia where cousin Sarah is serving. Amazing!
Our puzzle for this session was a beauty- Jason created a 1,000 piece masterpiece highlighting all of our 2022 adventures. Man, what an amazing year and so many sweet experiences to remember!
Gone are the days of desperately trying to entertain my little ones while catching a spiritual snipped here and there. We all love and look forward to listening and learning from conference together!
Well, except maybe this shaggy, lazy little pup.
General conference is always a joyful weekend in our home- puzzles, tasty snacks, sweet missionaries, good notes, and a great spiritual high!
