We LOVE getting updates from our college girl at BYU- she is loving life in Provo, and especially with her bestie Sarah, extended family, and her new roommate friends.
We are utitlizing FaceTime as much as we can to stay connected.
But there's nothing quite like an in-person hug!
Jason went to Utah in October,
stayed a few days with Grammy Q in Colorado, then headed over to deliver Leah an in-person hug from all of us! For the first time as stake president, he used our stake's allotment of general conference tickets for our family!
Sarah, Lizzie, Leah, Kell, and the Father. What an awesome experience, and they saw lots of other friends from Iowa there too!
We looked for them from home!
And they watched a few sessions on campus too.
Grocery shopping, eating out, a campus tour and approximately 45,000 hugs from home.
We miss Leah!
I think it is a goal of the Father to get very comfortable with the 32-hour round trip drive that it takes to get to Provo- we expect to be making this trip more than ever in the future. This trip was a weather-free, beautiful one. Still so long, but totally worth it!
