A Baby Plan

Noah, sitting in the grocery cart and contemplating life as we weave through the store - Mommy, if you keep food in your tummy for a really long time, is that how a baby gets in there?

M- Nope. That's not how it happens.

N- Well then how?  How does a baby get inside your tummy?

M, knowing that he's already heard versions of this answer before- It takes a mommy and a daddy to make a baby.  The daddy has the seed and the mommy has the egg, and when they come together, they make a baby!

N- Ohhh!  That's how it works...... we need a seed and an egg..... we should totally do that.  Can we have another baby?

M- No, we already have four babies! 

N- Pleeeeeease can we do that?  Can we please have just one more baby!?

M- Nope!  What would you do with a baby?

N- I would play with it!  And pet it's head.  (distracted by a baby in a nearby shopping cart) Hi baby!  Look a baby!  Babies are so cuuuuuute!

Noah sure would make a great big brother.
