Center Grove Orchard

Fall in Iowa means Center Grove Orchard!
We love having a season pass to CGO- it means we can go and stay as often as we want!
And there are new things to do discover every year- this year it is barrel horses, sunflower fields, and bottle-feeding baby goats!  We officially need a baby goat at our house.
Some days are HOT!
So we bring lots of water.
 Some days are rainy,
 some days are dusty!
One day we conquered the corn maze!
How does Daddy do this for a living??
Noah won the prize for leading us out of the maze- back through the entrance but we called it a win because we were done!
Some days we have the place all to ourselves.

 Ahh, so nice!
Just about every day we take a few laps around the track on the little tractors
and climb all over the big tractor
and the corn maze is always a must.  This year we discovered a new way to play in the corn!

Neither Noah nor I have much interest in getting buried alive in corn, but this new game is fun!
CGO is always fun!  The apples are incredible, the donuts and fudge irresistable, and the fresh ground honey roasted peanut butter is my new weakness.  Whether we like it or not, a season at CGO marks the beginning of the end of the year.  So we might as well have some fun while we're ushering in a new season!
