After a fantastic pause on real life for Christmas break, we dove right back into reality (for a few days anyway).
Adam started the new year off behind the wheel. I love hearing things like "Whoa, this is really fast" at 18 mph and "How do you do this every day?" and "This is harder than you make it look" while driving around the very deserted Walnut Woods. Teen driver number two, in the (very long and slow) making!
A siblings-only hot cocoa chat-
and an impromptu dance party in the kitchen!
Our first meal of the new year was provided by Grandpa Mark. He made us some very sharp, very cool steak knives and gave us a Costco gift card to buy some steaks!
They turned out sooo good. We all gave Jason the traditional (apparently) South American applause at the end of the meal.
Cutie pie figuring out how to master those heatless curls!
More phone selfies!
And my favorite picture of the new year so far- Emma helping Noah with his math homework and teaching him that double digit multiplication is "like a dance- first you go up then over, and then over and then up!"
