We kicked our year off strong with a visit to the Rock Creek Ward! It felt like going home again.
Laney is ready for a visit from Auntie Allison.

We decided to spend our first Friday night of the year revisiting an old family favorite- escape room in a box! These were a huge hit during Covid and we have a few that we still haven't knocked out. Friday night was Pirate Night!
Complete with fish and chips from a visiting food truck (thanks for picking them up Daddy!).
Everyone dressed up and we cracked open the box only to discover that we are even more clever than ever! We completed one of the three stories in the box and then agreed that once we finish all three we will watch Pirates of the Caribbean.
This night reminded me of our old grad school days- making fun out of what we've got on hand and loving it!
