I ran across these pictures on my computer- the journey to parenthood, these are the only pictures I have of my pregnancy with Leah.

April 30, 2006- The day we found out we were going to have a baby!

Oh.  My. Gosh.  It looks like we were both having a bad allergic reaction to something we ate.  What can I say?  We were fat, happy, and in love.  Apparently we didn't notice just how fat...

Look at that expression!  A mix of wonder, awe, and sheer terror!

Skipping ahead one month- May 20, 2006- so excited to see that profile grow!

 Skipping ahead two more months- July 6, 2006- there's a bit of a bump!

Apparently my documenting skills stink- skip ahead to December 28th, 2006- two weeks shy of my due date and ready to be done.

I went into labor 14 hours later, and Leah was born 13 hours after that.  I've never posted Leah's birth story.  It was pretty dramatic and it has taken me quite a few years and the subsequent births of Adam and Emma to help me realize that every birth is different and every birth is a success simply because you've given the gift of life.  But that is a post for another day... maybe.
