And When We're Back in Chicago....

Hot pasta in a cheesewheel from Eataly- 7/10. This was the perfect meal to warm us all up after the Cubs game, but it was pricy and no one ended the meal overly stuffed. Also, no pictures because our fingers were too cold? It looked like this and it was incredible. When the meal was over I declared that I was ready for some Giordano's, which confused everyone. I meant Garrett's!
While I waited in line for popcorn, everyone else went around the corner to the Harry Potter store to get sorted into houses and grab some butterbeer treats. 10/10 for butterbeer, 100/10 for butterbeer moustaches.
Angel wings- 100/10.
Walking over the bridge and down to the water taxi- 10/10. Love these views.
The water taxi itself- 7/10. Iconic experience, must be done.
Ahh, the father makes me laugh.
Walking to the end of Navy Pier- chilly, but not even close to the coldest we've experienced it. 8/10.
Views from the top of the ferris wheel at sunset! 1000/10. Simply magical.

Attempts at a .5 ferris wheel selfie- 9/10 because we didn't get a good one with everyone in it.
Museum of Science and Industry on our last morning in Chicago- 7/10. We decided there would be no more taking normal pictures by this point.
And yes! This is the museum where a Emma, a little lost girl, was out of our sight for a horrific five minutes years ago. Like most things, this museum seems a bit smaller than it did back then. But just a bit! It's quite a maze in there.
Original costumes from Hamilton and Wicked!

This water exhibit was equal parts mesmerizing and shame-inducing.
The baby chicks!
We played a hilarious game of tag in the hall of mirrors.
Twinsies?!
Manly submarine stuff.
Zen padre.
Done. Done. Done. Time to head home.
Giordano's pizza stop along the way- 9/10, minus one point for the horrific Cesar salad.
Ahh Chicago, how lucky are we to love you so much!!
