Puerto Rico Day 3- The Boat!

 More than ever before, we knew that this trip would be most successful if we gave ourselves some down time at the house every day. Day three started with another lounging morning in the pool! There were a few crazy loud roosters in the morning, a cat fight here and there in the night, and, the cutest of all, the songs of the coqui as soon as the sun went down! 

Oh no! Someone let in a little lizard! 

It was an all hands on deck endeavor to get him back outside again. 

That is a red head. 

After a few good hours of chilling at home, we made our way over to the marina, where our Uber dropped us off nowhere close to where we were meeting our captain. It didn't seem like it would be such a long walk, but we definitely should have just called another Uber to get us where we were supposed to be. 

The water was rough coming out of the marina! 

Snorkeling in the ocean- everyone was SO brave! 

We saw all kinds of fish and coral and sea urchins. 

I was definitely ready for dry land when we got to the first beach. 

It was a perfect day! 

Our second beach stop was a bit busier, but we had a blast spotting sea turtles, swimming on the mat, eating lunch, jamming out to music and people watching. 

The turtles were so cute and so easy to spot- they were everywhere! 

The ride back to the marina was even crazier than the ride out! 

Sun, sand, snorkeling, and sea turtles- what a perfect day!
