We took another day trip to Nauvoo a few weeks ago. This one was a little rougher with the 3-hour-each-way drive, but the scenery was beautiful along the way and it was another great day to be together as a family. I hardly took any pictures-
We had to wait for the bridge to let a barge through before we could cross over the Mississippi.
It was a temple trip with our ward, so we got to spend the day with about 100 of our favorite church friends, eating lunch, enjoying the activities in Historic Nauvoo and swapping kids so we could enjoy some time in the temple.
Our kids always want to get as close to the temple as they can. Just one more year before Leah can go in with us!
We ended the evening down by the Mississippi- enjoying the view from Nauvoo before making the trek back home.
